Upload Image to Metadata from Your Native OS File Browser in Compose

Now you can upload an image (from your native OS file browser) to replace a default metadata thumbnail in Compose. Uploading a custom image to the metadata works for any link post to a Facebook or LinkedIn profile.

  1. How To:
  2. Open Compose.
  3. Copy/paste (or type) the URL into the Compose box and the metadata will automatically populate.
  4. Click the Gear icon in the upper righthand corner of the default thumbnail image.
  5. Select Upload Thumbnail.

Note: This functionality works for any link post to a Facebook Page or LinkedIn Company Page. It will not work for Google+ as Google does not accept custom thumbnails. It does not work for Twitter as Tweets do not offer customizable metadata.

Spanish and Portuguese Languages Supported on Android app

Sprout’s Android app now supports Spanish and Portuguese languages so users can publish and engage while on the go. The app automatically syncs to the selected language of the Android device.
