Until now, you had to use the web or mobile browser version to manage your brand’s Google+ Page. Moving forward, you’re can view, post, and comment directly within the official Google+ app.
This is a critical addition for Google as it continues to compete with Facebook for marketers’ attention. But unlike Facebook, which built an app specifically for switching between Pages, you’ll have to sign out and back in of the Google+ app if you manage more than one page.
Other improvements for iOS users include support for iPhone 5 and iOS 6 as well as the ability to edit posts, save photos to your camera roll, and search for people and posts on iPad. Android owners also received some additional upgrades, such as an updated widget, a new “Find People” experience, and the ability to access photos from posts with one click.
