Sprout Social Trellis Plus Terms

Effective Date: October 19, 2026

  1. 1. Applicability. These Trellis Plus Terms (“Trellis Plus Terms”) apply to Subscriber’s use of and access to Trellis Plus, and are incorporated into, and become part of, the applicable agreement in place between Subscriber and Sprout Social governing access to and use of the Services (“Agreement”). The Agreement includes and incorporates by reference the Service Order or in-app purchase terms (as applicable), the Sprout Social Product Terms, and Sprout Social’s AI Features Terms located at sproutsocial.com/legal/ai-features-terms/ (“AI Features Terms”). By purchasing any Trellis Plus offering through a Service Order or through the Application, Subscriber agrees to and is bound by these Trellis Plus Terms. Capitalized terms not defined in these Trellis Plus Terms have the meanings given in the Agreement. In the event of a conflict between these Trellis Plus Terms and the Agreement, these Trellis Plus Terms will control with respect to Trellis Plus.

  2. 2. Trellis Plus Offerings. Trellis Plus is a paid add-on feature to the Sprout Social Subscription Services. It provides expanded Usage Limits (as defined in the AI Features Terms) for Trellis, which is Sprout Social’s AI agent. Trellis Plus is available in two forms:
    (a) a per-seat offering, under which designated Authorized Users receive individual credit allotments (“Trellis Plus Seats”); and
    (b) an Account-level offering, under which all Authorized Users, and all Trellis actions on Subscriber’s Account that are not attributed to an individual Authorized User (including autonomous replies, autonomous draft reply generation, and other background or agent-initiated actions) (“Automated Actions”), share a pool of credits (“Trellis Plus Shared Credits”).

Subscriber may subscribe to only one Trellis Plus offering at a time, except during any transition period set forth in the applicable Service Order. Regardless of access to any Trellis Plus offering, Authorized Users have access to Trellis on a per user basis, which is included with all paid subscriptions, subject to Sprout Social’s then-current included baseline Usage Limits for Trellis (“Included Usage Limits”).

  3. 3. Trellis Plus Seats. Each Authorized User designated as a Trellis Plus Seat user receives a monthly credit allotment for extended Usage Limits for Trellis ("Seat Credit Allotment").  The Seat Credit Allotment is specified in Sprout Social's then-current Documentation available at https://support.sproutsocial.com/hc/en-us/articles/46301987792781-Trellis-Plus-Extended-Access-to-AI-Features. Seat Credit Allotments are specific to the designated Authorized User. They may not be shared with other Authorized Users or used for Automated Actions.

  4. 4. Trellis Plus Shared Credits.
    (a) Credit Pool. Trellis Plus Shared Credits give Subscriber an Account-level pool of Trellis credits (“Credit Pool”). The applicable Service Order states the number of credits included in the Credit Pool each month. Automated Actions are available only to Subscribers with an active Trellis Plus Shared Credits subscription and an eligible Sprout Social plan, as described in Sprout Social’s then-current Documentation at https://support.sproutsocial.com/hc/en-us/articles/49682193505165-trellis-plus-shared-credits.
    (b) Order of Consumption. For Trellis actions attributed to an Authorized User, including Trellis Chat and Skills, that Authorized User’s Included Usage Limits are consumed first. Once an Authorized User exhausts their Included Usage Limits, that user’s further credit-consuming actions draw from the Credit Pool. Automated Actions draw from the Credit Pool directly and do not consume any Authorized User’s Included Usage Limits. Subscriber is responsible for monitoring Credit Pool consumption by its Authorized Users and Automated Actions.
    (c) Credit Exhaustion. If Subscriber’s Credit Pool is exhausted, Sprout Social may suspend or restrict Trellis actions that draw from the Credit Pool, including Automated Actions. Access will resume at the next monthly reset of the Credit Pool or, if earlier, when any additional credits purchased by Subscriber are made available. The Credit Pool is also subject to the Usage Limits and other terms set forth in the AI Features Terms.

  5. 5. Credit Consumption, Reset, and General Credit Terms.
    (a) Consumption.
Trellis actions consume credits at variable rates based on the action performed, as described in Sprout Social’s then-current Documentation.
    (b) Reset. Seat Credit Allotments and Credit Pool credits reset monthly (as further described in the applicable Documentation), do not roll over, and unused credits are forfeited upon each monthly reset.
    (c) Modifications. Sprout Social reserves the right to modify credit consumption rates, Seat Credit Allotments, and other credit mechanics described in these Trellis Plus Terms upon notice to Subscriber; provided, however, unless mutually agreed to by the parties in writing, Sprout Social will not reduce Seat Credit Allotments or the Credit Pool below the amount specified in the applicable Service Order or, if no amount is specified, the amount in effect as of the applicable subscription start date for the then-current Subscription Term.
    (d) Sprout Social’s records of credit consumption will control. If Sprout Social permits usage beyond the Credit Pool or any Usage Limit, including due to delays in usage enforcement, Sprout Social does not waive its right to enforce the Credit Pool or Usage Limits.

  6. 6. Fees. The fees and payment terms for each Trellis Plus offering shall be set forth in the applicable Service Order or the Application. If Subscriber adds Trellis Plus Seats or increases its Credit Pool during the Subscription Term, the added fees will be prorated for the remainder of the then-current Subscription Term. Trellis Plus Seats and Trellis Plus Shared Credits are add-ons subject to the same auto-renewal and non-cancellation terms as set forth in the Agreement and applicable Service Order (if any). Any downgrades shall only be effective at the beginning of any subsequent new or renewal Subscription Term, except as otherwise set forth in an applicable Service Order.
