Description

Sprout Social is looking to hire a Senior Manager, Marketing Campaigns - New Business to join the Marketing team. This role will report to the Senior Director, Integrated Marketing.

Why join Sprout’s Marketing team?

As a member of Sprout’s Marketing department, you’re an integral part of inspiring our customers and driving the growth of our business. As a true partner to the Revenue team, we are accountable to—and responsible for—driving significant revenue across new business acquisition and customer growth. We put our customers at the center, we’re driven by results and we’re passionate about our impact on the overall strength and health of Sprout. As individuals, there’s no shortage of opportunities to learn and grow in your current role and beyond. At Sprout, we want you to do your best work, be creative, take risks and make mistakes.

What you’ll do

  • Define the cross-functional campaign strategy for new customer acquisition, thinking holistically about the prospect journey and how to deliver value at each touchpoint
  • Determine campaign themes, content and storytelling that will reach and engage prospects at the right moments in their journey.
  • Own your pipeline and revenue results with a strong focus on analyzing performance, distilling key insights and presenting optimization recommendations that mobilize stakeholders
  • Lead a team that develops and executes new business campaigns, webinars and co-marketing initiatives as part of Sprout’s global, integrated campaigns motion

What you’ll bring

We are looking for a strategic leader who can confidently bring together cross-functional teams, coach and guide team members, and develop high-performance campaigns that drive customer acquisition. You might be a fit for this role if you:

  • Have a history of driving campaigns and demand initiatives that achieve ambitious goals.
  • Foster innovation and creativity on teams you lead, encouraging colleagues at every level to realize new possibilities.
  • Have extensive experience analyzing campaign performance, distilling key insights and presenting recommendations in a way that mobilizes diverse stakeholders.
  • Are comfortable as both a player and a coach, balancing strategy, execution and people management responsibilities and empowering your team in their own development.
  • Bring deep experience partnering with and presenting to Revenue leaders and teams cross-functionally on strategy and results.
  • Are no stranger to building new teams, processes and reporting capabilities—in fact, you thrive on navigating complexity and leading through change.

The minimum qualifications for this role include:

  • 8+ years of experience in integrated marketing, campaigns, demand generation or relevant marketing experience, including 2+ years of experience in a B2B SaaS environment
  • 5+ years of experience developing strategy and managing cross-functional marketing projects from vision through execution

  • 1+ years of experience managing and leading teams

Preferred qualifications for this role include:

  • Experience working within the social media marketing industry

Within 1 month, you’ll plant your roots, as you:

  • Experience Sprout’s new hire onboarding program, which includes product training, insight on our company’s mission and vision, and a comprehensive overview of the org.
  • Work with your manager to set initial priorities, align on expectations for your role and define key success metrics to measure progress.
  • Get to know your team members and dive into how our global, integrated campaign strategy ladders up to the goals of the marketing organization and business.
  • Familiarize yourself with our product, marketing strategy, OKRs and Ideal Customer Profile.
  • Participate in 1:1s, stand-ups, team meetings and marketing rituals.

Within 3 months, you’ll start hitting your stride as you:

  • Evaluate past campaigns, analyze results, gather feedback from cross-functional collaborators, and incorporate your insights into your team’s roadmap.
  • Develop a strong understanding of Sprout’s customers, personas and brand guidelines to help you craft engaging campaign themes, storytelling and communications.
  • Familiarize yourself with Sprout’s webinar program, including content, technology and opportunities for the new business audience.
  • Contribute to our 2025 campaigns, collaborating with the team on webinars, email strategies and distribution plans and developing plans for upcoming campaigns.
  • Measure progress toward growth lead, pipeline and revenue targets on a regular basis, optimizing campaigns and partnering with stakeholders to drive performance gains.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders, including Marketing Operations, Product Marketing, Brand Creative, Brand and Social, Marketing Operations, Content, Revenue Enablement and Sales.

Within 6 months, you’ll be making a clear impact as you:

  • Implement the strategy and roadmap you’ve developed, assess results and continue to learn and grow.
  • Develop campaign themes, strategies and assets that support Sprout’s global campaigns.
  • Identify opportunities to efficiently grow our reach through co-marketing, new channels and more.
  • Work with a cross-functional team to advise on and develop webinar content, curating standout speakers and expert perspectives that get our audience talking.
  • Present results and recommendations to stakeholders, sharing progress, optimizations and recommendations to test and learn, and joining shared rituals with Revenue teams to speak on behalf of the Campaigns team.
  • Hold regular career development conversations with your direct reports, leveraging Sprout’s marketing career bands to identify opportunities to grow.
  • Proactively share feedback up, down and sideways, helping your team and collaborators grow.

Within 12 months, you’ll make this role your own as you:
