New Index Data: The Social Dream Team of the FutureRegister for Webinar
Social media teams lead the way into the future. Regardless of team size, they are an integral key to your organization’s larger goals.
As social media has grown, so have the expectations and capabilities of social marketers. According to the latest Sprout Social Index™, the role of social media has expanded well beyond marketing, touching nearly every corner of a business. With so many changes to the social media landscape, how does a social team (big or small) stay agile while managing multiple platforms, stay on top of social trends and grow their career?
Tune in to hear the experience of three industry experts talk about their careers in social. We’ll cover key skill sets that have helped them grow, discover how they break silos when sharing social impact, and hear their predictions of what is to become of social media roles in the next 3+ years.
Gerard is a Social Media Strategy Lead at the digital marketing agency VERB Interactive. You can normally find him at the office, helping guide his team’s vision for their social clients: everything from developing content pillars for major hotel brands, to sharing ideas for what to put out into the world for National Pizza Day. When he’s not knocking out social strategies, he’s probably playing/watching/obsessing over whatever sports he can get involved with.
Greg Rokisky is a Social Media Strategist at Sprout Social, where he supports social strategy and social-first initiatives optimized for engagement and conversation. Outside of obsessing about social, he’s typically over-caffeinated, buried in a book and convincing people that unicorns are more than mythical. Tweet him your hot takes at @GregRokisky. @GregRokisky
Rachel Karten is a social media professional who has worked in the field for over ten years at places like Bon Appétit and Plated. She is currently a Social Media Consultant who has worked with brands like CAVA and west elm. She’s also the creator of the Substack newsletter “Link in Bio” which has over 45,000 subscribers. @milkkarten
