Apply Facebook News Feed Targeting to Your Page Posts from Sprout
Publishers can now add targeting criteria including age, gender, relationship status and more when creating a Facebook Page post from Compose. Facebook News Feed targeting is an effective way for publishers to optimize organic reach and ensure their content is reaching the right audience.
- How To:
- Open the Compose window.
- Select one or several Facebook Page profiles from the profile picker menu.
- Click the globe icon in the bottom left corner to open the Audience Targeting menu.
- Choose Target Your Post to apply News Feed targeting criteria based on gender, relationship status, educational status, interested in, age, location or language.*
- Navigate thru each Audience Targeting option to apply your desired targeting criteria.
- Click the green button (Send, Schedule, Queue, Submit for Approval or Save) to either publish immediately, schedule or queue for future delivery, submit the message for approval or save as a draft.
