Engage with Customers Using the Can Reply Permission

The new Can Reply Permission, available on desktop and in Sprout’s Mobile Apps, enables users to reply to messages in the Smart Inbox while still requiring them to submit messages for approval in Compose. By safeguarding which types of messages users can publish, Can Reply fills a gap between the Needs Approval and Publishing permissions.

  2. Go to Settings > Users & Social Profiles.
  3. Select a user from Your Team.
  4. Use the drop down under Permissions at the profile level to select Can Reply.
