Monitor Instagram Media Tags in the Smart Inbox

You can now see messages containing media tags of your profiles in the Smart Inbox. These messages include any posts where your profile is tagged in a publicly available photo or video. Media Tags can be accessed on Sprout’s web, iOS and Android apps. Instagram posts with media tags cannot be replied to, per Instagram’s API restrictions. 

Note: This feature is supported for Instagram Business Profiles only. Learn how to convert and reconnect your profile as a business profile here.

  1. HOW-TO:
  2. From the Smart Inbox, select one or several Instagram profile(s) from the Profile filters in the right bar.
  3. Select the Media Tags Instagram message type filter. You’ll now begin to see photos and videos that your profile is tagged in.
