See if a Twitter Account is Verified When @mentioning From Compose

Now you can see if a Twitter account is verified as you’re typing it into Sprout’s Compose box. Twitter’s verified account status is used to establish the authenticity of identities of key individuals and brands on Twitter. Verified accounts make it easier for you to find who you’re looking for and ensure that you are @mentioning the correct account.

  2. Open the Compose window or Twitter Reply screen.
  3. Start typing your @mention and Sprout’s look ahead search function will dynamically update as you type.
  4. If a Twitter account is verified you will see the word VERIFIED appear to the right of the Twitter profile.
