Whether you’re part of a large team or a small group, you want to work within a secure environment. For this reason, Dropbox launched its two-step verification process in August.

This optional process — which is similar to Gmail’s two-step verification — offers an additional layer of security by requiring members to submit a six-digit security code in addition to passwords upon signing in.

Starting today, Team admins will be able to see which members are utilizing this feature, and helping to event future security issues. With the extra visibility you can see who has turned it on as well as send email reminders to those who haven’t.

Dropbox for Teams differs from regular accounts in that instead of requiring members to have individual accounts, a group of people can share one with multiple logins. In the future, the company hopes to expand Teams functionality by allowing Team admins to help out with common issues, such as when someone gets locked out of an account.
