Facebook Continues Mobile Rollout of Timeline for Pages
Almost two months later, updated mobile Pages now more closely resemble their desktop counterparts. The most noticeable changes are the cover photo and information boxes. Place Pages will be able to display additional information, such as whether the location is open as well as a button to call the business.
Mobile Pages also display native Facebook tabs for events, locations, and Likes; however, custom tabs aren’t supported. Similar to the desktop experience, fans can swipe to the left to see more tabs if you have more than three.
Visitors will be able to see how their friends connected with your Page, whether through check-ins, Likes, or mentions from personal posts. Previously this was available for Place Pages, but now it supports any fan Page.
You’ll also be able to access your Activity Log from your mobile device, as well as see which voice you’re publishing from. Unlike desktop, there doesn’t appear to be a way to switch from your personal account to the Page just yet.
It’s unclear how quickly this is being rolled out or when Facebook intends to be finished. If you’re still sporting the old design and update should be coming your way soon.
