YouTube Invites Everyone to Join Its Partner Program

When it comes to social media, a loyal audience can be just as powerful as a large one. This week, YouTube announced that its Partners Program is now open to all content creators.

Previously, the Partners Program was available only to producers with popular videos and large, loyal audiences. Now, the company has updated eligibility across 20 countries.

“We’re excited to provide more creators with the opportunity to become partners and have access to programs and resources to help them be successful on YouTube,” said the company. “These programs will be tailored to partners based on their specific needs.”

To become a YouTube Partner you must first enable your account — which can be done through YouTube Settings — and successfully monetize at least one of your videos. New Partners won’t have access to custom Channel features like thumbnails and banners right away. YouTube will make these, as well as other features, available to new Partners over time.

YouTube has put the change in effect for members in Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Ireland, Israel, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Poland, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom, and the United States.

The Partner Program could help you grow a larger and more engaged audience. Regardless of your status, it’s important that you’re consistently providing your viewers with valuable and relevant content.
