The entire Healtcare industry - pharmaceutical companies and care providers - are recognizing the power of the consumer as he/she desires to become more educated in their healthcare decisions. Shifting reimbursement has been one driver. As consumers are required to pay more from their own pocket for certian decisions, they want to better understand the options and the rationale. This will eventually result in better healthcare at a lower cost.
