When it comes to advertising Google is the only one you can trust. Facebook and twitter are money sucker.

Advertising your brand in a social media site can sometimes be good or bad. Good if you get the expected results like improvement of the business, keeping potential customer and many more. Bad if you are not successful in promoting the business to prospective customers and customers criticize about your business but I guess these should not be a hindrance of pursuing success in your business because after all what matters is that you meet the expected aftermath of the customers.

I'd love to dive deeper into this - Has any other research been done that duplicates these findings? I feel torn after reading "Want Immediate Results? Sponsored Stories Are the Way to Go" yesterday.

TimothytHaines I'd love to get more information as well. I'm very curious about how many people actually reported negative effects over indifference. The trouble with these types of studies is that there's always conflicting reports. I haven't been able to find additional studies with similar findings yet, but I'll continue looking.
