TikTok Stories—photos, videos or text posts that vanish after 24 hours—give brands a low-stakes, high-reward way to engage authentically. They appear exactly where your audience is already scrolling: your profile, inbox and the For You and Following feeds.

Viewers can react or reply by direct message, and those replies give you a quick read on TikTok sentiment.

A blue ring around a profile photo means they have a live Story—just tap to watch.

You can see who viewed each Story, and saving a Story to a Highlight keeps it on your profile past 24 hours.

How to post a TikTok Story

  1. Tap the + button at the bottom of the TikTok app.
  2. Tap Story below the record button.
  3. Record a video, take a photo, write text or upload from your camera roll.
  4. Add sounds, text, filters or stickers, then tap Your Story to post.
