According to Google’s Amit Fulay, you can now use Hangouts and other Google+ services using your page’s identity.
Previously, page admins had to use their personal Google+ account to use third-party tools, like Hangout apps. Now you are able to set a username and password for your Google+ Page, allowing you to log in to your page directly.
How To Create a Google Plus Login
If you’d prefer to log in to your page instead of going through another account, creating a username and password is easy. All you have to do is click the More button found along the left-hand side of your Google+ homepage and select Pages.
From there, choose which page you’d like to create credentials for and click on Settings, where you’ll be asked to create a username and password. We should note that only the page owner can do this; additional admins won’t have access. It’s then up to you who to share the new login information with.
It’s possible that in the future, this capability might also allow you to connect a YouTube Channel directly to your Google+ Page, which could make it easier to record Hangouts On Air. In the meantime, it helps to create a more consistent environment for your admins as well as your community.
