Until now, recreating ads on Facebook involved looking through a list of names of your previous campaigns hoping you remember what each one looked like. Today, Facebook launched a new Creative Library service that displays your ads visually.

Now you can see what your ads looked like and choose the ones you want to run again. Of course, you can modify the older ads with new text, images or parameters. Additionally, you can preview what a new ad would look like before you run it.

This works not only with Facebook Ads, but also with their new Sponsored Stories. When a Facebook user Likes your page, post or site, the notification that appears in their friends’ News Feeds now can also appear in their sidebar as an ad. A recent study showed that Sponsored Stories have higher clickthrough than regular ads.

For those who have a budget for Facebook advertising, this new service will make it easier for you to run consistent campaigns over time.
