Connecting your Zendesk to Sprout Social

Helpdesk Integration in Settings Tab
Once you are logged into Sprout Social, head over to the gear menu in the upper right and select ‘Helpdesk Integration’.
Connect Zendesk
On the Helpdesk Integration screen, you will see the Zendesk ‘Connect’ button. Click to proceed to the authorization window.
Enter Zendesk Credentials & Authorize
Enter your Zendesk credentials and click ‘Finish’ to complete the authentication process.

Creating Helpdesk tickets in Sprout Social

How to Create a New Helpdesk Ticket in Sprout Social
  • 1. On any message in Sprout Social, click the task icon to get the item assigned.
  • 2. Once you are in the ‘New Task’ view, locate the Helpdesk checkbox in the upper right of your screen. Clicking this will turn any Sprout Social task into a Zendesk support ticket.

3. Once a the ticket is passed to the Helpdesk, Sprout Social and Zendesk stay in sync to keep each of your teams informed on the status of the support request.
