Today SlideShare introduced a new analytics tool for Pro account holders. Now, you can send content to a potential customer and see when they opened it, how they engaged with it, and gain better insights on which parts resonated most.
Acquired by LinkedIn last May, SlideShare is an online presentation platform that lets companies and individuals create presentations and embed them anywhere on the Web.
With Send Tracker, you can email new or existing content from your SlideShare account to someone, and real-time alerts will let you know when the recipient has opened and clicked your email. Additionally, analytics will enable you to track how they engage with that content.
The new functionality will enable sales and marketing professionals to better manage content based on real-time data. For example, you can gain meaningful insights by tracking how much time someone spent on a slide. Determining which content resonates the most will have an impact on revisions and future presentations.
Send Tracker is currently available as a free trial, but will require a subscription to SlideShare Pro after a pre-determined amount of time. If your company shares a lot of presentations online, it might be worth enrolling in the trial.
