Monitor & Engage with LinkedIn Company Page Comments from the Smart Inbox

Sprout Users can now monitor and engage with comments on their LinkedIn Company Page posts from the Smart Inbox, alongside all other Smart Inbox features.

  1. HOW TO:
  2. From the Smart Inbox, select the LinkedIn Comments filter under Message Types.
  3. Engage with comments by clicking the icons in the lower right corner of the message bubble to reply, task, tag and mark as complete.
  4. Click on a LinkedIn Company Page name in the Profiles list of the right bar to enter Isolation Mode where you can focus in on only incoming messages for a specific Page.

Task LinkedIn Comments to Another Sprout User for Follow Up

Tasking your LinkedIn Comments to another Sprout User allows your team to increase productivity and ensure efficient follow-up on all messages.

  1. HOW-TO:
  2. From the Smart Inbox, click the pushpin icon on a Comment on a LinkedIn Company Page Post.
  3. From the Create Task screen, choose a task type and assign the task to another Sprout User.
  4. Add any internal notes or comments for additional context.
  5. Select Save & Exit.
  6. The assigned user will receive an email and an in-app notification.

Respond to LinkedIn Company Page Comments from the LinkedIn Contact View

Sprout’s LinkedIn Contact View provides the context and profile detail necessary to understand the types of professionals who are engaging with your LinkedIn Company Page posts.

  1. HOW-TO:
  2. From the Smart Inbox, click the reply arrow on a LinkedIn Comment to enter the LinkedIn Contact View.
  3. To reference past comments from this user, click the History tab in the left nav. The reply field will retain any text you have already written.
  4. To navigate back and pick up where you left off, click the Public Reply > LinkedIn sub-nav.
  5. Finish your reply and click Send.

LinkedIn Messages Added to Tag Report

Users can now analyze LinkedIn messages to which they’ve applied a tag using the Tag Report. LinkedIn messages are included in the Tag, by Daily Volume section aggregate, and can be filtered by network.
