This week we’re pleased to cast the spotlight on Advanced Mobile Care — a smartphone optimization and security app from system utility software vendor, IObit — based in San Francisco, CA.

What Is Advanced Mobile Care?

Think of Advanced Mobile Care as the Swiss Army knife of mobile apps — with an emphasis on tools that enhance the responsiveness and the security of your smartphone. Advanced Mobile Care is also the mobile equivalent of IObit’s PC-based utility software suite, Advanced System Care — which itself has garnered over 100 awards and seen over 150 million downloads, worldwide.

Using IObit’s anti-malware engine and system tune-up technology, Advanced Mobile Care can remove malware (yes, malware!) on your mobile phone, clean memory, delete system cache and junk files, all while increasing your phone’s processing speed.

Advanced Mobile Care also offers valuable features, such as “Game Speeder” to help games run more smoothly, “Privacy Locker” to restrict access to your private photos and videos, and “Task Killer” to stop memory intensive apps from draining your phone of its resources. Rounding out the suite of utilities is the “Battery Saver” feature, which identifies the apps that are consuming the most battery power, and then offers functions to extend your battery life. Finally, a robust and versatile “App Manager” helps users sort, find, and uninstall or transfer apps to their external SD cards.

Advanced Mobile Care is designed for smartphones running Android 2.2 and above, and is available for free on Google Play.

What Needs Does it Address?

“The mobile space is the next natural next frontier for us,” says IObit spokesperson, Joe Aranda. “No one is really doing what we’re doing. There’s a growing need for robust, trustworthy apps that can increase the functionality and privacy of your mobile phone, in an interface that’s convenient and easy to use.”

Aranda says that although the native software that comes with most Android smartphones can be used to manage and streamline your phone’s functionality, “most of these utilities are buried three or four layers deep in the system — if you can manage to find them at all.” Advanced Mobile Care offers you all of the most useful functions you’ll need for optimization, privacy and app management, says Aranda, “and you can still manage to use them all with one hand!”

Aranda says that a common problem with Android phones, is that “they work just fine for the first year or so, but then around the 18 month mark, there’s a serious degradation in performance.” This just happens to be about six months shy of most cell phone plans. That means most users either have to suffer through the last six months of their contracts with sluggish phones, or they end up upgrading before their contracts are even up, he says. Advanced Mobile Care can get an inefficient phone back up to speed, extending its life (and the satisfaction of its user) considerably.

How You Can Leverage Advanced Mobile Care

“If your smartphone is operating at peak performance, you can be much more productive too,” says Mr. Aranda. Also, “there’s no need to buy a new phone if you can get the one you have back into shape.” Use Advanced Mobile Care to give an under-performing phone a new lease on life, or use the app proactively to make sure your phone never gets to that point in the first place, he says.

If your business has anything to do with mobile phone hardware or software, or if you provide services like technical support, it helps to know about, and recommend apps like Advanced Mobile Care. Optimization and privacy concerns have not been on the radar for most people yet, “but that wave is coming,” says Aranda.

Do yourself and your clients a favor, and be prepared for that wave of necessity before it hits. Check out the full suite of utilities bundled with Advanced Mobile Care on its website, download the app from Google Play, or connect with the maker of the app, IObit, on Twitter and Facebook.
