Sprout Social is looking to hire a Head of GTM Enablement, EMEA & APAC to the International Sales & Success team. In this role, you will support the ongoing enablement and career development of our EMEA & APAC Sales and Customer Success teams. You will have the opportunity to  collaborate closely with the North America based Enablement Team, Global & International Sales Leadership, Customer Success Leadership, Product Marketing, Sales Operations, Organizational Development, and Marketing organizations.

What you’ll do

  • You will support the ongoing enablement and career development of our EMEA & APAC Sales and Customer Success teams.
  • You will partner with Sales Leadership to identify, prioritize, deliver, and measure sales enablement programs designed to meet and exceed specific sales-related goals and targets
  • You will collaborate on the definition and implementation of a new global sales process designed to optimize the buyer experience
  • You will develop new global expansion strategies by localizing content and messaging to different segments and selling markets.
  • As the Manager of EMEA & APAC Sales Enablement, you are continuously looking for ways to enable the next level of organizational excellence and aspire to see each of your colleagues achieve their goals and career ambitions. 
  • You are working directly with various selling segments to enable sales representatives to engage customers and prospects with differentiated, tailored experiences designed to identify, advance, and close sales opportunities.
  • You can seamlessly operate effectively across multiple time zones and can masterfully work a-sync with multiple stakeholders and remote-based teams.

What you’ll bring

Sprout Social is looking for a highly driven, strategic, and inspiring Sales Enablement Leader. Our International Sales team is on a mission to empower organisations of all sizes to become better marketers, create stronger relationships with their customers, make more informed decisions, and create the world’s most beloved brands - across all of International. You will be results-driven and collaborative. You are naturally curious, delegate and manage projects effectively, and seek accountability by linking programs to key business metrics. You are an effective listener who is able to build trusted relationships. You recognize that a key to success in this role depends on an ability to influence and inspire others to engage and adopt change. 

The minimum qualifications for this role include:

  • 5+ years experience in Sales Enablement (ideally in the SaaS industry)
  • Unwavering passion for coaching, training, mentoring, and empowering others
  • Experience defining data-driven strategies and driving successful implementation
  • Change management and project management expertise 
  • People Management experience
  • Sales system expertise (e.g.

Preferred qualifications for this role include: 

  • Able to easily build authentic relationships and collaborate effectively with teammates
  • Ability to inspire and influence teams cross-functionally
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to understand complex issues, apply frameworks to facilitate broader organisational understanding, and efficiently make decisions/ take action (with leadership and cross-functional teams)
  • Demonstrates an appetite for understanding global markets and building strategic playbooks
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience implementing a Sandler-based sales methodology
  • LMS (Learning Management System) 
  • CMS (Content Management System) 

How you’ll grow 

Within 1 month, you’ll plant your roots, including:

  • Complete Sprout Social’s new hire training & onboarding program alongside other new Sprout team members. You’ll gain a broader understanding of our products and how your role fits into the organisation.
  • Pass various knowledge checks and certifications
  • Meet with North America based Enablement team members to understand current processes and opportunities
  • Meet with Sales and Customer Success leaders as well as reps across both North America and international teams to understand current processes and priorities
  • Start developing relationships with partners across the organisation, including Sales Leadership, Customer Success Leadership, Product Marketing, Sales Operations, Organisational Development, and Marketing organisations.

Within 3 months, you’ll start hitting your stride by:

  • Effectively prioritize the needs of the global business in order of impact and urgency by reviewing the available data and running meetings with department stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success leaders to define clear measures of success for the enablement function
  • Collaborate with the North America based Enablement team to design, implement, and operationalize required enablement programs via e-learning modules or classroom-based sessions
  • Develop a point of view on the most effective mechanisms for facilitating enablement, project management, and content management
  • Implement a system for planning programs, tracking project status, and capturing input from stakeholders, specifically for the global Sales and Customer Success teams
  • Begin developing and facilitating enablement programs based on highest priority and needs identified – which include but are not limited to: new hire onboarding, sales methodology, sales tools and systems, opportunity management, sales messaging and presentations, product readiness, close plans, and partnering with Customer Success

Within 6 months, you’ll be making a clear impact through:

  • Review monthly metrics to discern the highest potential areas of opportunity for global enablement intervention
  • Own enablement meetings with the global Sales and Customer Success leaders you support to ensure organisational support and consistency among teams
  • Conduct field research to develop expertise on global market differences, industry trends, target personas, and Sprout product capabilities and document into a Global Playbook
  • Create a project charter that encapsulates the training and development expectations of the global Sales and Customer Success functions along with a clear mechanism for tracking progress, feedback and needs
  • Champion organisational change management to help global team members adopt and manage through change effectively
  • Continue to build trusted relationships with Sales, Customer Success, and cross-functional teams that you will be supporting
  • Continue to expand the library of enablement content and skills training

Within 12 months, you’ll make this role your own by:

  • Have complete control over enablement strategy for Global Sales teams
  • Have a clear view of the impact enablement is having on the business 
  • Evolve global enablement programs to support continued growth, achievement and capability among the team
  • Consistently and reliably give and receive feedback with peers
  • Become a model leader in Sprout's Sales and Customer Success organisation 
  • Be recognized as an innovator in Enablement
