Pinterest updated its iOS apps this week making it easier for community managers and other pinners to edit pins and boards while on the go.
Last August, Pinterest updated its iPhone app and released its first official apps for iPad and Android devices. While the apps featured a similar design to the desktop version, they lacked some of the features.
In the most recent update, the company added the ability to edit a pin’s description, change its board location, or delete the pin entirely, all from your mobile device — a major improvement over having to wait to login on your computer.
Additionally, comments can be deleted anywhere on Pinterest, which could be helpful in removing offensive comments from your pins. This is another helpful step toward combating spam and internet trolls.
Although relatively minor — compared to Pinterest’s redesign news — this update is convenient for community managers and other individuals who monitor their pinboards and pins on the go.
