This week LinkedIn announced updates to People You May Know, a feature that has helped to connect millions of professionals.

People You May Know is a powerful tool that provides members with personalized and relevant suggestions that make it easier to find and connect with people in your network. Through its algorithm, LinkedIn identifies people based on your existing network, past workplaces, and where you went to school.

In addition to a more streamlined look, LinkedIn has also made it easier to filter results by company or school. Previously search filters were based on a checklist along the left side of the page. To filter the recommendations, just click on a logo.

LinkedIn also introduced “endless scroll,” which presents your recommendations in a seamless two-column flow. The new site is redesigned to be much more visually appealing, which could increase engagement — a la Facebook Timeline.

The enhanced feature is being rolled out over the next few weeks, but LinkedIn has provided a link where you can see it in action.
