This week LinkedIn unveiled the latest change to its service — a new, simpler navigation bar. This update follows changes to its homepage design, profile layout, and revamped mobile app.
From maintaining important relationships to adding more context to profiles, LinkedIn has been focused on making the site easier to use and more valuable to its members. The new navigation bar aims to simplify your on-site experience as well as boost your productivity.
As you explore the new bar, you’ll notice a simplified menu of tabs to help you quickly and easily find the features and content that are of most value to you. The company has also moved the search bar front and center, making it easier than ever to discover and locate what you’re looking for.
Your settings and other account options are just a click away as well. Just hover over your profile picture in the top right corner and a drop-down menu will provide you with quick access to your account options, language, and settings. You can see the new navigation bar in action in the video below.
The new navigation bar will become available to all English-speaking members around the world over the next month. It’ll certainly benefit recruiters, community managers, and anyone else who spends a lot of time on the professional social network. It can also help your customers to find your Company Page as well as the content you’re sharing on LinkedIn even faster.
