Connect With Customers From the New Foursquare for Business App

To better serve the millions of businesses using Foursquare, the company has released a new app — its second ever — to help business owners share important news with customers right on the spot, right from their phones.
The Foursquare for Business companion app enables busy professionals to create a Foursquare update and easily cross-post to Facebook and Twitter at the same time. You can also use the app to view recent check-ins, turn specials on and off, and track business analytics.
Despite encouraging a more active role in your Foursquare presence, the app does have a couple of drawbacks — at least for now. For example, you’re only able to manage a few different physical locations, and specials must be created on a computer. Additionally, it’s only available to U.S.-based merchants — we imagine this will change with time.
