Facebook announced that its App Center, a personalized dashboard for app discovery, is now rolling out across the web and mobile devices.

Initially introduced in May, the App Center has launched with more than 600 social apps, including Nike+ GPS, Draw Something, and Pinterest.

Individuals will receive app recommendations based on their habits and those of their friends. For example, if someone plays a lot of games, he or she will see more game recommendations.

The App Center isn’t limited to just Facebook apps either. If members discover a mobile app, they can choose “send to phone” where a push notification will prompt them to download the app from Apple’s App Store or Google Play.

In May alone, Facebook drove people to iOS apps 134 million times. Additionally, seven of the top 10 grossing iOS apps and six of the top 10 Android apps have integrated with Facebook. There’s a lot of opportunity here for developers of all kinds.

Facebook began rolling out the App Center to people in the U.S. yesterday. The rollout should be complete for all members within the next few weeks. For details on how to submit your app, or to review App Center guidelines, visit Facebook’s Developers blog.
