Kick Start Your Career With the New LinkedIn Jobs

Today LinkedIn Jobs, which helps connect members with career opportunities, unveiled an update that will make searching much easier and more relevant to members.

Aesthetically, LinkedIn retired the old look for a layout that more closely resembles the rest of the social network. In 2012, the company unveiled drastically revamped Profiles and Company Pages.

In addition to redesigning the service, LinkedIn has also added several new features, including a more in-depth look into job searches using advanced queries, such as country, zip code, industry, and function. Premium subscribers will receive a new Advanced Search feature to find jobs that meet salary requirements and embedded tips to help job seekers make the most of the service.

LinkedIn has also added easier access to “Jobs you may be interested in” to help you find opportunities based on information provided in your LinkedIn Profile. You can also click the “Save Job” link on jobs you’re interested in, or save some time by surfacing new results from your saved searches.

While LinkedIn Jobs is more tailored to job seekers, companies looking for new talent can also take advantage by listing any current openings. The company intends to roll out this update to its 200 million members “in the coming weeks.”
