What We’re All About
When Sprout Insights first started about two years ago (it was called Sprout Social Insights back then), the vision was for a simple company blog with some good resources about leveraging Twitter for small business owners. With your involvement, we’ve since gone further than that — by a long shot.
Now, by necessity, every kind of organization from nonprofits to political campaigns to sports teams to large, national brands and international corporations maintain presences on social media. We’ve adapted the content and now the website meet that demand for useful data and inspiring stories about social media transforming the relationship between a brand and its customers.
Because our content is not supported by display ads, we don’t live and die by the sheer number of page views — only the quality of advice and coverage we provide. That means you won’t get solipsistic insider rants or pageview-generating viral video ploys.
Instead, we stay on target with sound social media news, advice, profiles, and reports — and every word is focused entirely on serving actionable knowledge to you as a community manager, small business owner, salesperson, marketer, or whatever else your calling might be.
Community on the Web, Twitter, and Facebook
We want to be the best place for your discussion and discovery about social media — and we recognize that the conversation is happening all over the social web, not just in the comments at our website. That’s why we show off your conversations about our content from Twitter and Facebook right here on the site for the most popular articles, by the comments at the bottom of articles.
We have a full-time social media expert here at Sprout Social, Brit Thompson, who will try her best to provide great feedback, advice, and answers to questions when you ping us on social or in the comments here. And since this is a place for businesses to discover new strategies, we’ll try to start discussions in which our readers can help each other find better ways to leverage these new tools.
Contacting Us
While you can always reach us on social media or through the comments, we have a new Contact page that includes email addresses where you can reach us about pitches, partnerships, and big news — plus the Twitter accounts of all our dedicated writers. Connect with us, and let us know what you think of the new Sprout Insights!
