Dropbox continues to improve the multimedia experience for members this month with yet another update to its iOS app.

A month after it removed full image limitations, and two months after adding the option to share to Twitter and Facebook, Dropbox has significantly improved the playback of videos through the service. While you might not find yourself watching videos through Dropbox very often, the streaming update is notable step forward.

The service, which already supports the iPhone 5 and iOS 6, has also added support for password-protected documents from Microsoft Office. For those that use Dropbox to collaborate with other team members, you might appreciate this extra layer of protection.

Additionally, the company — which reached 100 million registered users on November 12th — has added support for two new languages: Italian and Iberian (European Spanish). Dropbox’s iOS app now supports a total of seven languages.

Although this update might not be enough to attract new members, existing users, especially power users, will likely take advantage of and appreciate the new perks. The latest version of Dropbox for iOS is now available in the App Store.
